Belarusian championship of professional skills WorldSkills to be held in May 2018 in Minsk

The Belarusian championship of professional skills WorldSkills will be held in May 2018 in Minsk and will bring together the country's best young professionals. The competition is open to workers, students and pupils aged under 22. The participants of the WorldSkills 2018 Belarus will compete in nearly forty competencies, including visual merchandising, cosmetology, baking, agronomy. In October 2017 the Belarusian team took the 16th place at the 44th championship in Abu Dhabi.

WorldSkills is world's largest competition for professional skills. The movement is aimed at popularization of working occupations and increasing their appeal among young people.

The next championship World Skills will be held in 2019 in Kazan.
