Meeting of President with head of Belarusian Federation of Trade Unions

The Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus is going to hold its Eighth Congress in February.
This was announced today at the Independence Palace by the Chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Trade Unions Mikhail Orda. The Head of State pointed to the role of the organization in public and political life of the country. 

Alexander Lukashenko thanked the unions for active participation in the parliamentary election campaign. Almost ten thousand people from the association worked in the election commissions. The Federation of Trade Unions holds extensive work on the protection of workers. In four years its experts have identified more than two hundred thousand violations of labor legislation.
