All-Belarusian People's Assembly to determine development course for next 5 years

28 октября 2020

Only the Belarusian people themselves will decide how to move forward. This applies without exception to all issues: both socio-economic and political.

The key decisions on the most important aspects of the country's life will be taken at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. The preparations for it were discussed at the Independence Palace.

A large-scale forum is expected to be held in January and February next year. It is important to pay close attention  to the composition of participants in the future meeting (the Head of State drew attention to this). Representatives of all walks of life must be present so that different opinions could be heard.

Preliminary dialogue is taking place these days all over the country at special venues. All proposals will be sent to the Organising Committee of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. But there are also those who are not interested in either the national assembly or constructive changes. These people go to the streets and call to stop the economy. Protest marches not only cause material damage to the city, but also threaten the lives of Belarusians.

President: There is a terrorist threat

Commenting on what is happening, Alexander Lukashenko said: this is no longer an information war, but a real terrorist threat. The authorities and law enforcers will react to this threat.
