The World Health Organization is ready to provide all the necessary assistance to Belarus in the fight against coronavirus from testing and its expansion to supplies of personal protective equipment, medicines. This was announced by the new director of the WHO European Office in our country, Masoud Dara. His first official meeting with the relevant minister took place at the Ministry of Health. The organization continues to study the experience of all countries. The anti-COVID vaccine was touched upon. In particular, Dmitry Pinevich noted that Belarus is considering the possibility of using several vaccines at once.
Masoud Dara, Director of the WHO European Office in Belarus: "Several vaccines are currently in advanced stages of research to confirm their safety and effectiveness. Belarus also contributes to these studies. However, until self-immunization begins. Precautions must be taken because even after the vaccine is available, immunization will be phased."
The security measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, hand hygiene should be observed as usual.
