There is no mobilization in Belarus and it is not expected. This statement was made today by State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich at a meeting with labor collectives of Gomel Region on the current military and political situation in the country and abroad, BelTA informs.
In addition, they discussed other important areas - national, military and economic security. They touched upon the ongoing conscription campaign.
"There is no mobilization in Belarus and it is not expected. Today we neutralize threats to our national security and military security using the available means and forces of the national security system and the military organization of the state," said the Secretary of State of the Security Council.
Alexander Volfovich also noted that there is a planned conscription campaign in the fall. "Let the boys, who haven't served in the army, get experience, become stronger and find friends. Serving in the army today is honorable," he stressed.
