Sudden combat readiness inspection of Belarus Armed Forces startы by order of commander-in-chief

A surprise inspection of combat readiness has begun by order of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. The troops will have to move to the designated areas as soon as possible, organize their protection and defense, build bridges across the Neman and Berezina rivers. It is known that units of the immediate regimentation forces, that is, those military units that will first of all solve problems in case of deterioration of the situation both on the border and inside the country, are subject to the inspection. The checks on the combat readiness of the Armed Forces are led by the State Secretary of the Security Council.

Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus:

A wide range of tasks will be practiced: marching long distances, unfamiliar terrain where tasks of taking various objects under guard will be carried out, occupation of firing positions, performance of firing and tactical tasks. The tasks will be set on the basis of the experience of a special military operation in Ukraine.

During this period  the movement of military equipment and personnel is planned and therefore traffic on certain public roads and areas may be restricted.
