Vladimir Dvornik and Anatoly Khotko officially presented to government

Vice Prime Minister Vladimir Dvornik who will oversee agriculture took up his duties today. Prime Minister Sergei Rumas introduced him to the Council of Ministers at a meeting of the Presidium. In the Government, Vladimir Dvornik will be responsible for the development of forestry and environmental protection, working closely with the Belarusian State Food Industry Concern, the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Cooperatives and the State Property Committee in terms of land relations. 

Also today, new Minister of Agriculture and Food Anatoly Khotko was presented to the colleagues. 

The first Presidium considered today the best farms and companies, as well as areas worthy of the Republican Board of Honor. There are 59 applicants from different industries who are proud of the results of their work over the past year. These are the best enterprises and companies in the country, both state and private ones. For the first time, two organizations from the sphere of social services are also applying for the Board of Honor.

This year, the opening date of the Republican Board of Honor is May 1. Changes have been introduced in the process of filing applications: companies can not apply for the Board of Honor two years in a row.
