Delegates to VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly being nominated

3 января 2021

The year 2021 will begin in Belarus with a landmark event: the All-Belarusian Assembly. It will open on February 11. Despite the festive atmosphere of the last week of the year, the President convened a working meeting to discuss the organizational details of preparations for the forum. Ever since the mid-90s, we have been accustomed to discussing the country's development issues together. Time is passing, life is changing, and new challenges arise.

One thing is constant: no matter how difficult it is, we are preserving the model of the welfare state. This means that the human being always remains in the center of attention of the Belarusian policy. No theories detached from life! We need an answer to society's demands.

The total number of the participants and invitees to the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly will be 2,700 people: 310 people from each region and 370 from Minsk. The nomination of delegates is now in going on in the country. Collectives of enterprises, public associations, small and large communities are faced with the task of electing the best representatives who will stand up for the interests of people and determine the program for the next five years.

The procedure for electing delegates will be completed on the eve of the Orthodox Christmas.
