US decides to punish headstrong Germany and bets on Warsaw - more in the "Screenshot"

The breakdown of the European Union could be one of the consequences of the global confrontation in Ukraine. The conflict has exposed long-standing contradictions between the countries. Germany is no longer able to control the situation and achieve the necessary decisions.

Olaf Scholz proposed reforming the fundamental principles and abolishing the requirement for a unanimous decision on foreign policy issues. The Bundestag's desperate attempt to maintain influence in the region is accompanied by constant attacks from Poland. The US decided to punish Germany, which is too headstrong, and is betting on Warsaw. More in the "Screenshot" section

The US is destroying Germany. A red light came on at the Bundestag government traffic lights. The White House destroyed the Berlin-Moscow-Paris axis. Franco-German solidarity, backed by cheap energy from Russia for many years, was a serious challenge for the Stars and Stripes Empire. Merkel and Macron's initiative to liberate Europe from NATO occupation forces and create their own army was an assault on US hegemony. Germany's current demarches on arms supplies to Ukraine have reinforced obvious contradictions. Washington decided to drive official Berlin under the baseboard of European history. I'm Andrey Sych - this is the "Screenshot" section, let's figure it out.

The global confrontation in Ukraine will inevitably result in a complete reformatting of Europe's political landscape. The well-being of the EU countries was based on fruitful cooperation with Russia. Cheap energy resources ensured the consistent development of industry and technology. And even the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell regrets this today: "Our prosperity was based on cheap energy coming from Russia" — the head of the European diplomacy Josep Borrell

Germany, acting as a logistics hub for energy distribution in Europe for many years, has also had political dividends from this. The destruction of Nord Stream gas pipelines has weakened Berlin's leverage. In fact, in this way, Germany will not only lose its political weight in the region, but also lose its industrial potential, and therefore its economic opportunities.

A number of enterprises are already considering options for transferring their facilities to other countries, in particular, to the USA.

Sergey Musiyenko, Head of ECOOM Analytical Center:

The fact is that in 1979, when the first sanctions of the world powers arose against the construction of the Urengoy-Pomara-Uzhgorod oil pipeline going to Germany, there was a similar sabotage, similar movements aimed at not letting Germany to be strengthened.

During the construction of the Urengoy-Pomara-Uzhgorod gas pipeline, the US economic sanctions also applied to the equipment manufactured by foreign companies under the US licenses. This sounds fantastic, of course, but back then Europe had not just managers, but national leaders who supported their producers by declaring the US sanctions illegal. As a result, Ronald Reagan was forced to lift the embargo. Today, temporary officials at the head of European states are meekly watching as the White House implements its plans regardless of their interests. At first, Scholz was sadly jabbering something, and after the sabotage on the gas pipeline he simply shrugged his arms. Like, this is the way to go. The French Finance Minister mumbled uncertainly that, amid the crisis, the United States sells liquefied natural gas on the world market four times more expensive than to its own industrialists.

"We must reach a more balanced economic relationship on the energy issue between our American partners and the European continent. " -  Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of Economics, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty of France.

The Paris-Berlin axis is purposefully and methodically deprived of leadership in the European Union. The White House is betting on submissive Warsaw, which is not only ready to obey unquestioningly, but is also happy to take the initiative to serve the American interests in the region. Poland is being turned into a new Germany; it is supposed to become a new hub for "democratic" energy resources and, accordingly, play a key political role.

Alexey Belyaev, political scientist:

Poland has chosen the path of switching all energy flows to itself and turning itself, both economically and politically, into one of the central countries in central Eastern Europe. This includes Poland's actions to diplomatically unite these countries, and we are witnessing this frank attempt to make Ukraine its satellite, and this means actual subjugation of the Baltic States’ political actions.

In some EU countries, Poland's growing influence in the region is even welcomed against the background of political fatigue from the monopoly of the Franco-German tandem. The enthusiasm for the change from black eagle to white eagle will pass at the moment, when Duda-Morawiecki regime finally gets bolder and establishes the dictate of Polish interests.
