The memory of the national Cuban hero was immortalized in Minsk school No. 91. A monument with the image of Jose Marti, author, publicist and leader of the liberation movement, was opened on the day of his 161st anniversary. The Belarusian youth prepared a cultural program: dances in the national Belarusian and Spanish costumes. The monument of 120 cm is made of gypsum. Its author is Belarusian sculptor Vasily Dubovik.
