Important and socially significant facilities built in agricultural town of Gory and Gomel

Traditionally, by November 7, it is customary to unveil important and socially significant facilities. Such long-awaited gifts were given to the residents of Gory, Krasnopolsky District, and Gomel.

Krasnopolsky is one of the seven southeastern districts, being under special attention of the state. This applies to both business preferences and employment issues. But the main thing is comfort. 

The agricultural town of Gory became the fifth in the district and the 139th in Mogilev Region, where natural gas was supplied.

A gift was also presented to the residents of Gomel. A new bridge across the Sozh River on the M8 highway is open. It will unload the regional center and improve the environmental situation. The old bridge was declared hazardous last year. It was hopeless to rebuild it. So they started building a new overpass next to it. The length of the new bridge is more than half a kilometer. The construction required more than 2.5 thousand tons of steel structures.

Based on the calculations of specialists, the bridge should serve for at least a hundred years.
