Voter turnout amounts to almost 5% on first day of early vote

The CEC published the first data on the Presidential Elections in Belarus. Voter turnout was almost 5% on the first day of the early vote. Over 7.5% of residents of Gomel Region used their civil rights, 5% voted in Vitebsk Region. The third place goes to Minsk. The figures are approximately the same in Minsk and Mogilev Regions. A little more than 4% turnout was in Brest. Less than 3.5 percent of voters cast their votes in Grodno.
