More than fifty trees have been planted in the Writers’ Park near the National Library. The square was decorated with ash, maple, oak and rowan. They were planted by writers, librarians, museum workers and publishers. Young poets planted apple trees, the symbols of inspiration and new talent in literature.

A memorial sign was unveiled in the park as well. In spring a few hundred bushes will be planted here, new benches and art objects will be installed.
