The second congress of Belarusian scientists will take place in the capital in early December
It will unite the best minds of the country and foreign guests. A total of more than two and a half thousand participants will represent the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, leading universities and ministries.
Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus: "This congress must be another important milestone, it will be an impetus for the development of science and economy. Science must determine the strategy, show where to go further: in the field of nano-technologies, new materials, composite materials."
The decree on increasing the salaries of scientists will be adopted before the congress starts. Differentiation of payment depending on the results will also be discussed during the congress.
