Belarus and Russia are not losing in the information war. Today the media forum of the CIS countries is held in Moscow. The participants are well-known journalists, heads of major TV companies, political scientists, diplomats and experts. The main theme is the development of the media in a changing world. Most of the participants are from Russia and Belarus. It is our countries that are experiencing the strongest external pressure these days. A real information war has been unleashed against us. Therefore, as noted Dmitry Kiselev, we must stick together and together reflect the challenges and threats faced by journalists of the CIS countries.

Dmitry Kiselev, general director of the international media group Russia Today:

“We are not losing in the information war because our society is in balance. We need to stick together, we are the most faithful allies, and this is a historic moment when we must overcome this, we must endure it, just as our fathers and grandfathers endured. We check the facts, we're always cautious, we don't panic when something comes up, we think it could be a fake. We check, we get on solid ground of facts. The truth is on our side. If they tell the truth about, for example, the explosion on Nord Stream, this truth will be against them.”

The forum participants also discussed media cooperation in the CIS countries, training of journalists, exchange of experience, and creation of a media holding company of the Union State in the future.
