One should bear responsibility, up to criminal liability for distorting the history of the World War II. Countering external challenges and threats to the Union State was addressed in Moscow. The international conference gathered parliamentarians of Russia and Belarus, political scientists, economists and expert community. Today, both Belarus and Russia are facing a difficult, volatile and aggressive external environment. New risks and formats of pressure on our countries are constantly emerging. The goal is to weaken our allies economically and geopolitically as much as possible. Increasingly, attempts are being made to rewrite our common history, the history of our victory in the Great Patriotic War. And Belarus and Russia have to confront it together to prevent the glorification of Nazism and revision of the results of the World War II.
Following the results of the conference, the Union State deputies were offered to create a single commission that would promptly respond to the interference of foreign countries in the internal affairs of Belarus and Russia.
