New locations were opened in Minsk Zoo. It will now have a birdwatching path with viewing platforms, as well as an aviary for lynxes and caracals, BelTA informs.
Minsk Zoo has repaired enclosures for lynxes and caracals, water birds, the roof of the building for housing young animals and the third stage of the current repair of the water path with observation points at the expense of the state program "Environment protection and sustainable use of natural resources" of the local budget in 2022.
One of the significant events of the event was the launching of a floating island for waterfowl, which was performed in a festive atmosphere by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Ivan Prikhodko and the head of Zavodskoi District administration of Minsk Sergey Masliak.
