To increase the capacity of Belarus' airspace and improve flight safety, including for military aviation, a new air traffic control centre was opened in Minsk. It is equipped with a modern foreign-made automated system of air traffic control as well as its backup produced by the domestic enterprise AGAT - Control Systems.
More than 450 people will work here, including specialists of the Air Traffic Control Center of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus who are in charge of the military sector of the country's Unified Air Traffic Control System.
