Recent astrophysics discoveries discussed in Minsk

Scientists from ten countries have gathered in Minsk today to discuss astrophysics discoveries made over the last 50 years .One of the main topics was the research of the Higgs boson, which was discovered with the participation of Belarusian scientists. The so-called God particle is being decoded at the European Centre for Nuclear Research in Switzerland.


The supercollider, which is now being used to study the particle, was also created with the help of Belarusian scientists. About 30 Belarusian astrophysicists are collaborating with world's best researchers in Geneva to decipher the Higgs boson.
