Belarusians attacked in Kiev

The outrageous incident took place near the building of the Belarusian embassy. Traditionally on the 7th day of each month, our compatriots come to the embassy with the state flags as a sign of support to the sovereign Belarus. This time a group of radicals attacked the peaceful activists. The youngsters armed themselves with gas cans.

The Belarusian embassy sent a note to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

The Belarusian embassy protested insisting that the incident was investigated by law enforcement agencies as soon as possible. The situation was given the appropriate legal qualification, and the perpetrators were punished fairly. The Belarusian side has no doubts that the attack was purposeful and premeditated. 

It seems that lawlessness in Ukraine has become the norm. Journalist Ruslan Kotsaba was recently beaten at Ivano-Frankivsk train station. The victim is sure that the attack was carried out by a group of local neo-Nazis.

 In Ukraine people are persecuted for their independent position. We should also remember how far-right Ukrainian radicals attacked the editorial offices of TV channels. The attacks on employees of the Nash channel preceded the closure of this media outlet by the Ukrainian authorities for its pro-Russian views.
