"A few more days and there will be a catastrophe". The CSTO Secretary General spoke about the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border. "It is important to face the people and solve their problems here and now.
Stanislav Zas said this in an exclusive interview to the TV channel Belarus 1 in Kazan. The exercise of the CSTO peacekeeping contingent "Unbreakable Brotherhood" ended there today. Belarusian MPs and senators were among the observers of the maneuvers. They also commented on the situation.
The "Unbreakable Brotherhood" was held since November 8 at Kazan Higher Tank Command School training ground. For five days, the peacekeepers of the Central Military District shared with military contingents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan the invaluable experience acquired during fulfillment of tasks in Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh. As Stanislav Zas noted, the exercises showed high level of professionalism of peacekeepers. And the technological level of equipment allows to solve any tasks.
