Presenting awards to the new scholarship holders of the President’s Special Fund - Belarusian State University students and teachers – Education Minister Mikhail Zhuravkov pointed out the need for meetings with young scientists and specific, interesting proposals. Among the awardees are winners of international Olympiads and the national competition of scientific works and the university’s best employees.
A total of about 5.5 billion rubles were allocated last year to support talented youth. Over 2,300 students, schoolchildren and creative teams became scholarship holders of the President’s Fund.
