Chairs of two largest media holdings of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan meet at Belteleradiocompany

Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing relations with Belarus at all levels, including in the media. Today, the chairmen of the two largest media holdings of both countries met at the Belteleradiocompany head office. During the talks, the technical possibilities of the TV centres and the prospects for internships of specialists were discussed. The Kyrgyz colleagues are particularly interested in the upcoming European Games that will be hosted by Belarus in 2019. The main television and radio broadcasting corporation of Kyrgyzstan is interested in acquiring the rights to broadcast the event. The possibility of exchanging video content was also discussed.

Ivan Eismont, the Chairman of Belteleradiocompany:

"We have a great interest in any video materials that showcase our country – videos, documentaries, special reports. We have all this, and in the near future, I think we will give the materials to our Kyrgyz colleagues for their TV channels. Also, we will receive from the Kyrgyz side materials about their country and I think that in general it will not only be important from some ideological point of view, but it will contribute to the development of tourism."

Ilim Karypbekov, the Director General of the Public TV and Radio Corporation of Kyrgyzstan:

I see that our employees have a lot to learn from you and at the same time our TV and radio corporation can provide a lot of interesting and new experience for your employees. I want to thank both the leadership of your channel and the leadership of the whole country for the contribution that is being made to the Belarusian TV and Radio Company."

In September this year, a meeting of the Council of the heads of television and radio organizations of the CIS member states, including Beleteleradiocompany, will take place in Kyrgyzstan. Also, tourists and athletes of Belarus, as well as journalists were invited to participate in the 3rd World Nomad Games. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic reported this in an exclusive interview to the TV News Agency.

Ainura Temirbekova, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan:

"We hope to see Belarusian participants at our wonderful events. And we expect a meeting with the heads of your Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Culture. We hope to build cooperation and, of course, we invite the sports delegation to participate in sports events, and creative delegations to participate in the ethno-cultural festival The Universe of Nomads."
