This year, applicants from Russia and Kazakhstan can enter Belarusian universities for a fee without enrollment tests in the presence of the USE certificate, said Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko. Belarus has already got into the set rhythm of the entrance campaign. In accordance with the norms of the new edition of the Education Code, it is expected to undergo some innovations, for example, the scope of targeted training has been expanded. The plan for such admission to universities is more than 3 thousand places. In general, 49 universities are planning to enroll about 53 thousand applicants, almost 27 thousand of them for state-subsidized education.
Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus:
“We have increased the target enrollment by about 6% for health care professions, about 11.7% for pedagogy, and about 5% for engineering and technology. We are increasing the enrollment in order to replenish the specialties demanded in the market.”
The first stage of the admission campaign, the centralized testing, will be held from June 14 to July 6. The reserve days are scheduled for July 12, 14 and 16. Additional locations for the CT will be deployed in the regions.
