Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said that Belarus plans to significantly increase the volume of rental housing construction, BelTA informs.
In October 2022, Alexander Lukashenko submitted proposals on additional transfer of inter-budgetary transfers from the state budget to the regions totaling Br190 million, including Br86 million for the construction of rental housing.
The housing construction program is being implemented as planned. "As a result, 2.8 million square meters of housing (102.6% of the plan for nine months of 2022), including 0.9 million square meters (115%) with government support, have been commissioned. The country as a whole is expected to meet the established annual targets (4.2 million square meters. m and 1.2 million square meters respectively)," said Deputy Prime Minister.
