It contains first-hand stories of witnesses to Nazi crimes. Now anyone can get acquainted with the living history online as a result of the joint Belarusian-German project. The characters united by war represent completely different groups: prisoners of concentration camps or ghettos, even a righteous woman of the peoples of the world who saved Jewish children. Witness accounts work best to preserve the memory of the war, historians say. And this is especially important 75 years after those terrible events. It's important that the memory remains at all times. In addition to the stories of 7 witnesses to the war, the site shares the film "Ozaricрi" by German documentary filmmakers. It is translated into the Belarusian language and is accompanied by Russian subtitles. It is an illustrative example of the demand and the history and memory that make up a common culture.
