Belarus will expand the list of documents on the basis of which citizens of the country, foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in Belarus can stay in the border area. Today, the proposed innovations have passed the first reading in the House of Representatives.
Anatoly Lappo, Chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus: "Not only the passport itself, but other identity documents allow travelling in the border area. Everything is done for the convenience of visiting our border area."
