Visa-free travel for foreign tourists extended in Belarus

24 июля 2018

Belarus has extended the term "visa-free"! Now foreigners can stay in our country without a special mark in the passport for up to 30 days. The decree was signed by the President. The main condition for the stay of foreign guests is the same: they must enter Belarus only through the air harbor, Minsk National Airport. In the same way, tourists are required to leave the country. As before, the new rules will not affect those, who come to Minsk from Russia, and also fly from the Belarusian capital to Russian airports. It is expected that visa simplification will revive the interest to our country of foreign travelers, as well as improve the business climate. Numerous guests can also easily become spectators of the Junior Eurovision this year and the European Games.

Belarus launched the "visa-free" in February 2017. The Ministry of Transport has repeatedly stated that they are ready to offer foreigners additional visa allowances.
