Belarus takes measures to curb rise in housing construction costs

Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said that Belarus has currently taken measures to curb the rise in housing costs, BelTA informs.

"Measures necessary to maintain price stability and curb the rise in housing costs by expanding the state regulation of prices of construction materials with the establishment of marginal rates of profitability and markups have been taken," said Anatoly Sivak.

Also in 2022, special attention is paid to simplifying procedures in the construction. At the level of the President of Belarus and the government adopted a number of laws governing the issues of standard design, development of pre-project documentation, obtaining permits for the construction of facilities, construction and commissioning of individual houses, state expertise of design documentation and public discussions.

"This work is currently continuing according to the plan approved in the government," said Deputy Prime Minister.
