Vlada Karnitskaya: Solar-powered drones will be manufactured in our country. Special service that accompanies the sale is already working for some foreign partners. Specific agreements on joint ventures in this field have already been signed with Ecuador. Last year alone, the Belarusian scientists have sold aircrafts for 650 thousand dollars. The Belarusian "drones" are sold to almost all countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
The main purpose of specialists is modification of the existing "drones." Moreover, e scientists plan to equip the wings of "drones" with special solar panels. Then the device can be recharged in the air without landing.
Belarusian flying robots are now able to independently carry out the task, and then return to base even without human control. "Drones" have taken control of our borders and prove its effectiveness every day.
For example, "Petrel" can perform multiple tasks at speeds up to 250 kilometers per hour. It works at a height of 200 to 5000 m, and its flight duration is 10 hours.
Today the "drones" are produced only in a few dozen of countries.
