Commission to monitor entrance examinations to universities set up in Belarus

In Belarus, a state commission will be set up to monitor the progress of the entrance examinations to universities and higher education institutions. This is stipulated by a decree that the President signed today. The commission will include members of the government and the Council of the Republic, as well as deputies of the House of Representatives, heads of state administration bodies, representatives of public organizations, and employees of monitoring bodies. Vasily Zharko, the deputy prime minister, was appointed chairman of the commission.
