Green light given to electric cars in Belarus

The President signed a decree to encourage the use of battery-operated cars this week. The document provides for unprecedented benefits. They concern both owners of electric cars and those who were going to buy them. The price of an eco-car hits one’s pocket. Now VAT on the electric car is canceled, there is no need to pay a fee for permission to participate in road traffic. Even parking for vehicles on electric traction will be free until 2026. The network of charging stations will be expanded.
