5 patients cured of coronavirus in Belarus

5 patients with COVID-19 received negative results and are ready for discharge. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health Elena Bogdan. Only 9 patients have clinical signs of infection. There are 37 more patients with positive laboratory tests but without clinical manifestations of the disease. There is one patient in poor condition. Currently, there are 17 people infected abroad, the rest are identified in the first-level contacts.

Elena Bogdan, Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus: "The situation today is fully controlled. More than 1900 individuals who are related to contacts of the first and second levels are under supervision. There are detailed plans for changing the organization of work today, starting from the health facilities in Minsk, republican scientific and practical centers to the central district hospitals."

A two-week quarantine medical monitoring of more than 2,700 individuals who arrived from infected areas has been completed.
