Most tourists using Belarus’ visa-free regime come from Germany, Poland and Italy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus proposes to extend the stay of foreigners in our country without registration up to 30 days. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Ganevich.

It is also planned to allow non-visa flights to Belarus through the airports of Brest and Grodno, as well as through Russia. Now foreigners can stay in Belarus without registration in the internal affairs bodies for only 5 days. In the first 9 months of this year, more than three and a half million foreign citizens entered Belarus, of which about 180 thousand people came under the visa-free regime. Most tourists came from Germany, Poland and Italy. The UK, USA, France, the Netherlands, Latvia, Sweden and Lithuania are in the top 10 countries.
