Issues of global and regional scale, the situation in theMiddle East, the future of the Eurasian Economic Community and information security were the main topics of the meeting.


 


By Andrei Laptenok: The accredited journalists urged each other to give balanced and objective assessments. In particular, referring to the integration processes in the Eurasian region, the forum participants suggested not to politicize the process, but by all means to speak about the success of the Customs Union.


A new topic for discussion was globalization and complementarity of world economies opening up integration opportunities.


Of course, the attention was not focuses on the Customs Union alone. In two days, the delegates managed to discuss many issues of concern to the modern world. Among them areAfghanistan, the situation in theMiddle Eastand green energetics.


The Eurasian Media Forum is a large-scale event bringing together hundreds of people from all over the world.


The topics discussed at the forum are an indicator of what experts, politicians and journalists themselves are concerned about. According to experts, in the near future communications and media will make up about 70% of the national product in developed countries.
