Uzbek doctors plan to learn from Belarusian colleagues

This was agreed in Minsk by the heads of the two departments. In particular, the Uzbeks are interested in methods of fighting cancer, pharmaceutical production. In addition, Tashkent plans to send more students to Belarus for medical education.

Valery Malashko, Minister of Health of Belarus: "Today we see a great interest of our Uzbek colleagues in  oncology and cardiac surgery. And we are ready to assist and prepare and conduct postgraduate training of specialists from Uzbekistan."

Alisher Shadmanov, Minister of Health of Uzbekistan: "The Republic of Belarus is indeed the leader in the region and, probably, all over the world in maternal and child care, in providing medical care in maternity hospitals and in children's institutions."

Today  the delegates will visit the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology.
