"We, the heirs of the winners - Azerbaijanis and Moldovans, Belarusians and Georgians, Armenians and Kazakhs, Ukrainians and Kyrgyz, Russians and Uzbeks, Tajiks and Turkmens, representatives of all nationalities of once united country, defended the right to life, freedom and human dignity in the Great Patriotic War," the message runs. - Today, when in many Western countries our Victory is outlawed, monuments to liberators are destroyed on a mass scale, murderers and executioners are proclaimed heroes, we commit ourselves to protect the historical memory of the selfless struggle of the Soviet people against the Nazis, which took the lives of millions of our compatriots".
The final resolution of the parliamentary conference "Historical Memory: the Great Victory through Unity" was announced in Minsk.
And just a few minutes ago the plenary session ended in the Oval Hall of the Government House. From the official tribune the final resolution was announced. This is the joint work of parliamentarians, scientists and diplomats from several countries. Only by joining forces, together, we will be able to confront the global challenges of falsifying the results of World War II and the Great Patriotic War.

We want to remind the whole world, the world community, parliamentary international structures, parliaments of the Commonwealth countries that it is unacceptable to rewrite the historical memory, it is unacceptable to falsify history. Today we must prevent the revival of Nazi ideas at all international parliamentary platforms.
Belarus initiated the international forum. It was held under the auspices of the House of Representatives of our country. It was based on the legislative norms adopted by Belarus to protect the historical truth.
