Timur Pryakhin, performer, singer, songwriter, blogger:
We have had the situation that for many years, everyone has always counted on the authorities, on the security forces, that they will handle it themselves, we came to the polls, voted and everything was ok. But then there was a situation that required the participation of civil society. It must have taken a week or two to understand what was going on at all, and then people began to actively join in. The future peace was on the agenda, we were on the brink of a real civil war.
Timur Pryakhin, performer, singer, songwriter, blogger:
We understand that these people are quite pragmatic, cynical. Their interest is primarily economic, because these are countries whose economy comes first, and when we hear such ideological statements directed toward us, it is clear that this is not ideology, this is economic interest, this is unfair competition. We saw that during these protests and what followed, various European companies, US companies sponsored, let us say, lobbied for various statements about our factories, our plants.
