The criminal case of an attempted military coup in Belarus continues to be considered. The court shows Zoom-conferences, where the conspirators discussed plans to seize power. We are talking about the financing of the conspiracy. One of the participants of the current trial, Grigory Kostusev, stated frankly that the overwhelming majority of the foreign financing (allocated for the Belarusian opposition) remained abroad. According to him, "maybe one or two percent gets to Belarus. Cash flows are intercepted on the way and they dissolve in someone's pocket. During the conference the amount of sponsorship of forces, willing to change the regime in Belarus in an unconstitutional way, was disclosed. We are talking about $200 million.

The conspirators suggested to seek money from the structures of the Soros Foundation, through large companies willing to sponsor the coup d'etat. After the coup, they planned to get the best pieces of the state property of Belarus. Five people were brought as defendants in the criminal case of coup d'etat: Yury Zenkovich, Alexander Feduta, Grigory Kostusev, Olga Golubovich and Denis Kravchuk.
