Names of most promising scientists of our country announced

The names of the most promising scientists of our country have become known. As a result of a secret ballot, 5 academicians and 22 corresponding members were elected. Elections were held today in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. About 150 applicants fought for high titles in the scientific field. The average age of elected academicians is 64 years. Corresponding members are 57 years old on average. Elections are held in the Academy every 3 years. The titles are given for life.
