100th border sign installed on Belarusian-Ukrainian border

A border sign in the colours of the Belarusian flag has been installed in a forest area near the Tomashovka checkpoint in the Brest region. The event was preceded by work on clearing a five-meter strip of the state border. A total of more than 100 km have been cleared fr om the confluence of the Western Bug River and the Mostitsky Canal, wh ere the junction of the borders of Belarus, Poland and Ukraine is located.

The State Border Committee has already started the facility acceptance procedure in the Brest region, which will finish on 15 December. Next year, the demarcation will finish in the Ivanovo, Kobrin and Drogichin districts of the Brest region. A similar process is underway in the Gomel region.
