Tourism can expand the economic potential of Soligorsk to 10 million dollars. This was aanounced by the chairman of Soligorsk district executive committee, Oleg Poskrobko. The city authorities see new opportunities for attracting tourists and investment in the use of the water of the "Slutsk Sea", the embankment and even "Soligorsk mountains".
On weekend, Soligorsk celebrated its 60th anniversary. Today the city is a large industrial center, one of the most densely populated in Europe, yet comfortable for living.
