Anatoly Malofeev, Belarusian party and government leader, passes away

Anatoly Malofeev, former Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a man who made a significant contribution to the birth and establishment of the Belarusian statehood and sovereignty, has passed away.  Anatoly Malofeev was a native of Gomel.  He started his career as a locksmith at wagon-repair plants in Gomel and Minsk. For a long time Anatoly Malofeev worked in various party positions and was the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
