Union Shield 2019. 1st stage of the Belarusian-Russian military exercise over

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus summed up the intermediate results of the joint operational exercise "Union Shield-2019", which takes place at the Russian training ground. As the military department noted, the units fulfilled all the tasks: opposing air strikes, searching, blocking and destroying illegal enemy formations and sabotage groups. In addition, maneuvers were carried out in night conditions.

During the second stage, which will last until September 19, the military will work out the issues of command and control during the defense and the interaction of the forces of the two countries.
