The chronicle of modern Belarusian television began on January 1, 1956. President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff of the National State Television and Radio Belarus on the 60th anniversary.
"You tell the country about people, whose daily work provides for socio-political stability and economic development, enrich the national culture, strengthen the national security of our state. Millions of viewers see the world through the eyes of journalists and correspondents and expect competence, in-depth knowledge and, of course, the maturity of professional assessments of the events from you."
Over these 60 years thousands of TV shows have been released and thousands of people have worked and are still working every day behind the scenes.
BTRC is the strongest structure in the country for the production of news. The team of the News Agency prepares more than 10 news releases per day, not counting high-profile special projects.
