By Pavel Kaputsky. The decree 443 provides tax privilege for institutions of physical culture and sports of Belarus. The document should give impetus both to sports of high achievements and to mass physical culture, and will allow to direct funds to the development of material and technical base.
The essence of the decree is that profits from income-generating activities of budgetary organizations of physical culture and sports are exempt from tax.
Tax relief was provided to 151 sports and recreation complexes, 445 sports schools and all centers of Olympic training.
Sports organizations have four years to improve their financial state and to prove that they really need the privilege.
