The season of driven hunting for ungulates has been opened in Belarus since October 1. Now hunting farms have focused on working with Belarusian hunters. They actively develop the population, so that everyone got an opportunity to get the coveted trophy. The number of ungulates increased by one third in Vitebsk Region.
Hunting grounds are protected from predators and poachers all year round. The ungulates’ ration is taken care of, when they lack natural food.
Feeding of wild animals in the hunting grounds of Vitebsk Region begins on November 10. Food security for deer and roe deer is ensured until March 25. This is the longest period among the regions of Belarus.
The hunters also build feeders, salt licks, and help to acquire food for the winter.
