On August 1, the living wage budget will increase in Belarus. On average, it will amount to Br328.50 kopecks per capita. In this regard, social benefits to families with children, the elderly and disabled will go up as well.
For example, a lump sum benefit in connection with the birth of the first child will be almost 3 300 rubles, the second and subsequent children will receive 4 600 rubles. Other children's allowances will also be raised.
In addition, in August, pensioners will get higher payments. Thus, labor pensions will increase by 10%. Their size will vary depending on the length of service, wages and allowances, which are also increased in connection with the growth of the minimum subsistence budget.
A total of 16 billion rubles is planned to be allocated for pensions this year.
