Russian epidemiologist Alexander Gorelov told our TV channel that it is not reasonable to stop the enterprises due to the situation with coronavirus. Doctor of Medical Science also noted that it is important to take sanitary measures at plants and, if necessary, isolate those who are ill. The expert also stressed that today the population has not yet formed collective immunity, so it is important to develop several vaccines against coronavirus.

Alexander Gorelov, Deputy Director of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology at Rospotrebnadzor: "A number of enterprises did not stop because they are connected with life support. And you see, among them there was no flash of sickness rate. If an employer observes simple measures, makes sure that employees maintain a social distance and are provided with personal protective equipment, and 10 percent of employees are tested selectively per week, then if these measures are followed, the company can continue to work. Selective testing makes it possible to identify patients with asymptomatic forms and identify individuals who pose a potential threat of coronavirus infection".
