The key points of the meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are being actively discussed by the expert community. Contrary to the desire to sink us, the Union State remains afloat. This opinion was expressed to our TV channel by Sergei Rekeda, General Director of the Russian Center for the Study of Integration Prospects. According to the expert, the economies of our countries have a decent response to the sanctions challenges, which complemented by a serious of information pressure from the West.

Sergei Rekeda, General Director of the Russian Center for the Study of Integration Prospects:

I think we have managed to overcome a very important problem that we had a few years ago, this lack of trust between the elites of our states and it became obvious that Russia is Belarus' friend. Belarus also supports Russia in this confrontation with the West and therefore we can count on each other and lean on each other.  We have withstood the first blow to our economy. The U.S. relied on this massive sanctions pressure, which is complemented by information and diplomatic pressure in the international arena, as well as in the field of art, sports, culture and so on.
